API Keys

API keys allow you to integrate Wap2b with your own applications and third-party services programmatically.

Generating a Key

1. Navigate to Account and select API Keys.
2. Click Generate New Key.
3. Give the key a descriptive name so you can identify its purpose later.
4. Copy the key immediately after generation. For security reasons, the full key is only shown once.

Viewing Keys

The API Keys page lists all your active keys with their names, creation dates, and last-used timestamps. The key value itself is partially masked after initial creation.

Revoking a Key

If a key is no longer needed or has been compromised:

1. Find the key in your list.
2. Click Revoke.
3. Confirm the action. The key is deactivated immediately and can no longer be used for API requests.

Keep your API keys secure. Do not share them publicly or commit them to version control. Rotate keys periodically as a best practice.
