Instagram Accounts
The Instagram Accounts page lets you view and manage the Instagram Business accounts connected to your Wap2b account. You can access it from the /integrations/ig-accounts page in the dashboard.
Viewing Connected Accounts
The page lists all Instagram Business accounts currently linked to your Wap2b account. For each account, you can see the Instagram username, profile picture, and connection status.
Connecting a New Account
To connect an Instagram Business account, click the connect button on the Instagram Accounts page. The connection process works through Facebook and requires the following:
- An Instagram Business or Creator account — Personal Instagram accounts cannot be connected. You must switch your account to a Business or Creator account in the Instagram app settings.
- A Facebook Page linked to the Instagram account — Instagram Business accounts must be connected to a Facebook Page. This is configured in your Instagram account settings.
- Facebook login and permissions — During the connection flow, you will log in to Facebook and grant Wap2b the necessary permissions to read and send messages on behalf of your Instagram account.
Once permissions are granted, the account appears on the Instagram Accounts page and you can begin using the Instagram Inbox, comment monitoring, and other Instagram features.
Managing Permissions
If you need to update the permissions granted to Wap2b, you can do so from your Facebook Business Settings. Revoking permissions may disable certain features until permissions are re-granted.
Disconnecting an Account
To disconnect an Instagram account from Wap2b, use the disconnect option on the Instagram Accounts page. This stops Wap2b from receiving messages and interacting with the account. You can reconnect the account at any time by going through the connection flow again.
