Instagram Inbox
The Instagram Inbox lets you manage Instagram Direct Message conversations from within Wap2b. You can access it from the /ig-chatbox page in the dashboard.
How It Works
The Instagram Inbox follows the same layout and workflow as the WhatsApp Inbox. The left panel shows your conversation list, and selecting a conversation opens the full message thread on the right.
Conversation List
All Instagram DM conversations are listed in the left panel, sorted by the most recent message. Each entry shows the Instagram username and a preview of the latest message.
Replying to Messages
Select a conversation to view the full message history. Type your reply in the input field at the bottom of the chat view and send it. Your response is delivered as an Instagram Direct Message to the customer.
Media Handling
The inbox displays media received from Instagram users, including images and other attachments. You can also send media in your replies using the attachment options.
Prerequisites
Before you can use the Instagram Inbox, you need to connect an Instagram Business account through the Channels section. Your Instagram account must be linked to a Facebook Page and have the required permissions granted.
Team Collaboration
Just like the WhatsApp Inbox, the Instagram Inbox supports team access. Multiple team members can view conversations and reply to customers, ensuring timely responses across your Instagram channel.
