Contacts

The Contacts page displays all the contacts stored in your Wap2b account. This is the central place to add, import, edit, and manage the people you communicate with through WhatsApp and Instagram.

Viewing contacts

All contacts are shown in a table with columns for name, phone number, email, and group membership. You can search for a specific contact by name or phone number, and filter the list by group or subgroup to narrow down results.

Adding a contact manually

Click the Add Contact button to create a new contact. You will be asked to provide:

• Name — The contact’s display name.
• Phone number — Must include the country code (for example, +91 for India or +1 for the US). A valid phone number with country code is required for WhatsApp messaging.
• Email — Optional, but useful for record-keeping.
• Group — Optionally assign the contact to a group during creation.

Importing contacts via CSV

For bulk additions, use the Import CSV option. Upload a CSV file with columns for name, phone number, email, and other details. The importer will map your CSV columns to contact fields and create all contacts in one step. This is the fastest way to onboard a large contact list.

Editing and deleting contacts

Click on any contact in the table to open its details. From there you can update the name, phone number, email, or group assignments. You can also delete a contact if it is no longer needed.

Important notes

• Phone numbers must include the country code for WhatsApp delivery to work.
• Duplicate phone numbers are not allowed — each contact must have a unique number.
• Deleting a contact removes it from all groups and subgroups it belongs to.
