Tips for better results
Write detailed product descriptions
The AI agent answers customer questions based on your product descriptions. The more detail you include, the better the answers. Include:
- Materials and dimensions
- Size guide (if clothing)
- Care instructions
- Available colours and variants
- Delivery time estimate
Keep your catalog up to date
If a product goes out of stock, update the quantity to 0 immediately. The agent will inform customers it is unavailable instead of taking an order you cannot fulfil.
Use a friendly agent name
Give your agent a human-like name that fits your brand. Customers respond better to “Hi, I’m Priya from StyleHub!” than a generic bot greeting.
Set a clear welcome message
Your welcome message is the first thing customers see. Make it warm, mention your brand, and tell them what the agent can help with.
Example:
Hi! I’m Priya, your personal shopping assistant at StyleHub 👗 I can help you find the perfect outfit, check availability, and take your order — all right here. What are you looking for today?
Check your inbox daily
Even with the agent running, check your Inbox regularly. Some customers prefer talking to a human, and some queries may need your personal attention.

Is it safe to connect my Instagram account?
Yes. Wap2b is an Official Meta Tech Provider and uses the official Instagram Graph API. Your account will not be suspended for using Wap2b. We never store your Instagram password.
How long does setup take?
Most sellers are fully set up in under 30 minutes:
- Connecting Instagram: ~2 minutes
- Creating a catalog: ~5 minutes
- Adding products: depends on how many you have
- Activating the agent: ~5 minutes
Will the agent reply to all DMs automatically?
Yes — once activated, the agent handles all incoming DMs. You can pause the agent for individual conversations from the Inbox if you want to reply manually.
Can I have multiple Instagram accounts?
Yes. Each Instagram account can have its own catalog and agent configuration. The number of accounts you can connect depends on your plan.
What happens if the agent doesn’t know the answer?
If the agent cannot find a relevant answer in your catalog or business context, it will politely let the customer know and suggest they wait for a human response. You will see the conversation flagged in your Inbox.
Can I customise what the agent says?
You can set the welcome message, agent name, and business context. The agent’s conversational style adapts based on these settings. Full script customisation is on our roadmap.
Does the agent work in languages other than English?
The agent supports multiple languages. Set your preferred language in the AI Sales Agent settings. Customers can also message in their own language and the agent will respond accordingly.
How do I update my plan or billing?
Go to Account → Subscription in the dashboard, or visit the pricing page .
